This is a topic that I try to avoid since I have found that there are a lot 
of software packages out there and even more people with opinions.  For what 
it is worth, I use DX Base for my daily loggin' package.  I like it mainly 
because it features multiple windows for the various information similar to 
Writelog.  It allows you to open, size and oganize the various windows to 
meet your taste.  I use it to generate labels and handle QSL cards as well 
as tracking awards and generating the appropriate forms.  It has the normal 
features including rig and rotor controls, packet cluster, QRZ CD interface, 
etc.  It also has support to import, export and track Log Book of the World 
QSOs.
