See the article about the Christmas toy drive for Florida kids on the ARRL
website: www.arrl.org  It will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling about the
monies that the club members and treasury contributed.  The drive has
EXCEEDED the ARRL's wildest expectations.  So, while you're opening up gifts
with your family on Christmas morning or during the eight days of Chanukah,
allow yourself to feel good because you did good.  And while your at it,
take a minute to remember one of two things:  Him who's birthday it is and
the Maccabees...

I feel like we should do one more thing...

We get a BIG CRATE.  Then we dress up N3SB (Ham with a BIG HEART) in a Santa
suit, give him a BIG BAG stuffed with toys, and put antlers on Andrew the
Ham Dog.  We put 'em (Steve, THE BIG BAG, and Andrew) in  THE BIG CRATE and
rent a BIG AIRPLANE and a BIG PARACHUTE (Steve's a BIG BOY and Andrew's a
BIG DOG). The plane flies over the hardest hit area of FL and out they go.
The kid that recovers the crate gets to keep the BIG BAG of toys PLUS Steve
and Andrew.
