I believe that the food service was consistent with venue, and the prices.

I thought the prices were unusually low for an "event" venue. The hotdogs
were $1.25, and were quite tasty. You'd pay more than that for a poorer
quality dog at 7-11/sheetz/wawa. The hamburgers were $2.50. A price rarely
seen these days for a freshly made sandwich. Show me another food vendor
that sells crab soup with actual visible crab meat in it for $2.50 a bowl.

At these prices, most of the funds are going into the ingredients not the
staffing. I spent about 90 minutes in the room, and they had 3 people
working the entire time. It is unfortunate that their were lines, but the
only way to avoid that would be to increase the pricing to generate funds
for more staff, or premake the sandwiches. Both of which would have
generated complaints.

Remember, these guys were here, because the clubs previous caterers couldn't
make enough to make it worth their while.

All in all, I think they did a fair job of balancing their price/service
ratio.

I only wish the pumpkin pie hadn't all been eaten at breakfast. So, I
didn't get any. :)
