I wish to apologize to any and all club members who were offended by my 
e-mail message this past Saturday regarding the MCC.  Obviously the passion 
I feel towards this project, misguided as it might be, is not necessarily 
shared by everyone else.  I have gotten myself into trouble before for using 
e-mail as a method for blowing off steam.  Please understand that is exactly 
what I was doing.... just blowing off steam.

I want to apologize for my enthusiasm and optimism as well.  I guess I'd 
hoped that it would be somewhat contagious.  But, that obviously is not 
happening.

I have offended a truely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable member of the 
club who I've looked up to since I became a member.  I wouldn't blame him if 
he chose NOT to accept my apology.  In his response to me he brought up many 
valid points about our club that I did not take the time to consider.  I 
guess every once in a while I DO need to be "put in my place," and for that 
I thank him.
