The last thing I want to do is to harbor ANY ill will between club members 
or get on anyone's BAD side.    Therefore, the BEER that was purchased will 
NOT be served and the MCC Committee will be reimbursed for the amount in 
question.

However, maybe it is time to address the issue of an addendum in the club 
bylaws expressly prohibiting club funds from being used to purchase certain 
items for use by the general club membership.
