No wonder I couldn't get it started.  The darned thing is older than I am.
That's why it's so "cranky", I guess.  I can start a Vietnam Era generator
though, just show me where the starter button is and where the MOGAS goes
in.  We had a generator that was hit with machine gun fire one night, but
kept right on ticking. One of our tower guards thought that we were being
overrun and got a little too enthusiatic.  Good thing it was only a "60".
Had it been a fifty cal, it would have sawed it in two. The next day,
someone painted a Purple Heart on it with oil can clusters...
