FYI,

I wrote a letter to our 6th District Congreesional Rep, Roscoe Bartlett
awhile back asking him to please co-sponsor the Amateur Radio Spectrum
Communications Protection Act.  I just received a letter from the
Congressman (yeah, I know it's from a correspondance assistant) informing me
that he is a co-sponsor of the bill and a co-sponser of the Amateur Radio
Emergency Consistency Act bill.

Congressman Bartlett's assistant on telecom affairs is W4LTX, Rudgyard
Forrester of Falling Waters, WV.  Western Maryland Hams have an "inside man"
on the Congressman's staff.
