Marine Corps Marathon is October 31
Be a lifesaver!!! A total of 100 operators are needed for various
locations along the course in Washington, DC and VA. There are positions
available for Medical Aid Stations, Net Control and locations on the
route. Some positions require HTs while others, like Rock Creek Park,
require mobile radios and a mast.
Do you have portable packet, APRS or Amateur TV? There are needs for
these skills and equipment as well.
Security makes it necessary to submit names of all volunteers for course
passes three weeks before the race so don't wait until the last minute to
sign up! There is a convenient link from www.ncacdc.com.
If you have already registered and have not received an acknowledgment,
please contact WD5DBC at arrl.net.
Thank you!
