[K3PZN-List] MID-ATLANTIC QSO PARTY UPDATE

Members:

The Mid-Atlantic QSO Party start time is 1600Z on May 8 (12:00pm EDT,
Mickey's hands are both straight up).  We will open up the club station at
that time.  This will provide the opportunity for those who want to operate
earlier to do so.  The station will then stay open until the last operator
calls it a night.  Even if you don't wish to operate, come on out anyway and
take part in the fun!  Try your hand if you've never contested before.

COME TO what will probably be THE CCARC event of 2004!
HEAR the side-splitting comedy routine of the "Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy
of Contesting" (N3YIM & K3ZE) trying to get callsigns correct!
WATCH the agony of WX3B trying to make 1,000 Q's per hour!
THRILL TO  the fastest fingers in Ham Radio - NY3A - spit out dits and dahs
like a machine gun!
BE AWED by the "Six Meter Six-Shooter - N3VOP (HOTY, we're not worthy,
etc,) - as he makes more QSO's than both HF stations combined!
STUFF YOURSELF with pizza and KB3KYJ's Cajun Gumbo!
TAKE PART IN the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!
