Greetings All;

At Monday night's meeting I showed some booklets I received -- one being a 
reprint of Chapter 9 of Alfred Morgan's "The Boy's First Book of Radio and 
Electronics." This particular chapter describes how to build a 1-tube 
regenerative receiver.

I was fortunate enough to have come across the actual book in the school 
library many many years ago, at the young age of 11 or 12, and I actually 
built a copy of that receiver. It was great listening to all the shortwave 
broadcast signals, the AM broadcast signals, and some other peculiar 
signals I'd find now and then that sounded like nothing more than random 
beeps. This hobby has been a blast ever since!

I wish I still had that receiver -- I traded it for something else that's 
long gone and forgotten. When I saw the reprint being offered, I had to get 
it.
