[K3PZN-List] The Maryland/DC QSO Party: Congratulations to WB8YYY and KB3JQQ

Dear CCARC Maryland/DC QSO Party Enthusiasts;

Let it be known that we have two stars in our very own
Carroll County area:

1.  Curt, WB8YYY claimed the prestigous "Worked all
Maryland Counties" award...which had never been done
prior to this year.  The thing that really makes this
impressive is that Curt did this running QRP!   His
score put him in position #5 for the entire group of
single-ops in the contest (that's against high power
operators, too).

2.  Scott, KB3JQQ racked up 271 QSOs from his mobile
station.  

3.  K3PZN placed in the top 10 in the club
competition.  (ok...#8 to be exact.  A few more
operating hours and we could have been in the top 3)

Good work gentlemen, now let's get ready for
Sweepstakes!
