It looks like immediate support will require 5 persons when we received
word.

There are 2 predesignated shelters.  Oklahoma Road Middle School and
Winters Mill High School. The Red Cross is going to be doing 12 hour
shifts at the shelters.  A person will be needed to be at the Red Cross
office in New Windsor.

One person to activate the radio room at the Fire Training Center for
liaison with other nets.

One person at the EOC Command Center.

So, I need names and phone numbers.  Who is going to go to Winters Mill
High School?
Who can go to Oklahoma Road Middle School?
Who can activate the radio room at the FTC?
Who is able to go to the Red Cross Office?

The EOC Command center has activated.  They will be calling up agencies
as needed.  Figuring the time line on the hurricane, I figure we will get
called Thursday evening.

When I get the call, I need to know who to turn to.

After the initial call, who is going to be available to relieve these
people?

The 145.41 repeater is the place to listen.  When the activation occurs,
I will open a net on the repeater.
It was nice to receive replies to my earlier e-mail and to have all on
the CARET net Tuesday night letting me know that all is ready.  Now is
the time to commit to ARES support.

20-Sep -- CCARC provides communications for the Maryland Wine Festival Bike 
Tour.

Next CCARC meeting Monday October 13, 7:30 PM at the FTC.
