Greetings to all Carroll County Amateur Radio Club members,
This email is to serve as an announcement of the first meeting
of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Youth Organization. The meeting will
transpire on January 10th at 13:00 at the fire training center. Below you
will find the first meeting agenda for your review. I like to request an
email from everyone who would like to have their youth participate in this
event by December 7th. The email should include the youth's name, age,
address, email, if they are going to attend the technical workshop or not,
amateur radio call sign, and class of license. Each student who would like
to participate, will be asked to make a $1.00 donation if they are not going
to attend the hands on technical workshop or $10.00 donation per student if
they are going to attend the technical workshop. The $10.00 donation will be
used to offset the cost of the materials for the technical workshop. The
cost of materials alone for the first technical workshop is over $20.00
dollars. Your radio club is assisting in the offset cost.
