When you think of "Field Day", what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Nope.....guess again. You're not even close.

No.....keep trying! I'll give you one more guess.

Y'know, you really suck at this, so I guess I'll tell you the answer.

Certainly not the task of setting up tents and radio stations.
Definately not the possible adverse weather conditions.
Of course not the comraderie.
Surely not the sleepless night.
Not the competetion of breaking through the 'pile-ups.'

Nope, it's none of those things. The first thing that comes to mind is the
delicious food as prepared by our own 'Gastronomic Gormet,' me!

I have searched all over the world and New Jersey to bring you the finest
culinary delights. Nine out of ten taste buds preferred this menu over last
years:

Dinner Saturday: Succulent bar-b-qued chicken* (like last year; legs and
boneless breasts)
Bar-b-qued baby back ribs* (see how I can do
THIS and still STAY WITHIN budget!)
Fresh tossed salad w/choice of dressings
                            Rolls and butter

Breakfast Sunday: Donuts and Danish (the bagels didn't go over real well)
                           Orange or Cranberry Juice

Lunch Sunday: Hot dogs*
                           Hamburgers*
(Any leftover chicken and ribs)*(yeah, right)
                           Chips

* A vegetarian alternative will be available. I'm not sure what it will be
yet.

Once again, I'd like to ask each participant/family to provide a cooler or
two, a 8-10 lb bag of ice, and a side dish of some kind (preferrably in a
disposable container).

There will be a posted list of assigned chores for all participants. (IF
YOU DON'T VOLUNTEER, YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED A DETAIL. CLUB OFFICERS AND BOARD
MEMBERS ARE NOT EXEMPT!) These chores will include, but not be limited to,
the following:

Trash Detail (Pavillion and radio stations)

Pavillion Cleanup (After each meal and final clean-up)

Beverage Detail (Keeping coolers full & cold, making coffee)

Meal/Snack Set-up (Dining area)

Meal Preparation (Cooking)

Meal Preparation (Clean-up)

Most of these details should only take an hour or two total. Some details
may overlap slightly.

Thank you,

Keith Krichinsky, KB3HHK
(Please, don't hurt me!)
