[K3PZN-List] 450 Repeater Power Amp

The 450 repeater transmitter appeared to have some spurs that was effecting the receiver.  This problem was mentioned a few months back but appeared to be intermittant.  Last week I noticed when trying to use the repeater that a mobile station had to have an overwhelming signal into the repeater to be heard.  Also, there appeared to be a noticeable noise on the transmitted signal that tended to keep the repeater up (feed-back).  This past Sunday I went up to the repeater site to do some checks on the repeater.  I found that the power amplifier was self-oscillating.

The power amplifier has been removed to be returned to the manufacture for repair.  Currently, the exciter is connected through to the duplexer.  The repeater is usable, but at a reduced output power (200 mW).
