  Hello Everyone,

  My name is Joe McManus and I live in South Carroll.

  I'm a hang glider pilot and we use 2 meter while flying
  X country and ridge soaring.  Most of us glider pilots
  have our Tech license for this reason.

  Now that I've been exposed to modern ham radio I
  realize that there is so much more than two meters.

  I'm interested in QRP and especially the  YAESU 817.  Does
  anyone in the club have this rig and maybe be willing
  to bring it to a club meeting sometime?
