[K3PZN-List] Notes from the Saturday Field Day Committee Meeting

1.  Attendees:  AK3Z, K1RH, KB3GHE, KB3HHG, KB3HHK, W3ARS, W3JJH

2.  The committee believes that we can support a 9A or 10A operation this year.
 Note that only a couple of years ago we were 2A.

The preliminary station lineup and station captains list is:

That's a 9A effort.  Adding another CW or DIG rig would bring us to 10A.  We
need a volunteer for the open CW rig and another for the 10th station.

3.  While we seem to have plenty of radios and antenna, many of the station
captains still need laptops for logging.  A laptop is preferred because the
battery provides a UPS; we don't want to lose a log just because WX3B walked
past the generator.

4.  We will need at least 5 QRP contacts for a 100 point bonus.  There is also a
100 point bonus for "natural power."  KE3FL, will you be able to cover this for us?

5.  The 6pm supper on Saturday evening is a pot luck.  Bring side dishes and
deserts.

6.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a cooler full of ice.
