[K3PZN-List] Show Boards

Greetings Friends;

The club needs to put together a couple "show boards" that can be taken to 
hamfests, Field Day, the Westminster City Fair, etc., that visually describe 
Ham Radio and what the CCARC is all about.

If you've ever been to a trade show, seen display booths at hamfests or even at 
the mall, then you know what I mean. We will probably have a table at the 
Fall-Fest in September again, and it would be great to have -- along with our 
new K3PZN call sign banner -- a couple display boards to show folks what our 
club is about. The target audience is both hams and non-hams alike.

The Education & Training Committee has been busy working on a half-hour 
presentation to take to schools, the County, etc, and a couple display boards 
would be VERY helpful to have as part of their show. 

So, I'm looking for:

Your ideas -- what items should we include on the boards?

Photos and other materials -- think about what would really help to explain our 
hobby and the CCARC.

Other thoughts on ways to expand the display -- handouts, demonstrations items 
like hand keys, microphones, vacuum tubes, etc.

A couple folks to pull the best ideas together -- with a goal of having the 
display boards ready in two months.
