Hershey Centenital Parade 

On September 13, 2003 Hershey, PA. will be holding a parade to celebrate
its 100th year.  Amateur Radio has been asked to assist in this event by
providing a  communications network.  The parade is expected to be the
largest parade to be held in Central Pennsylvania with more than 5,000
participants.  The parade will be televised by WGAL-TV Channel 8,
Lancaster.
     Dauphin County Emergency Coordinator Jim Acri, N3JRO is in charge
of Amateur Radio particpation.  Needed are approximately thirty (30)
Amateur Radio operators to help fill the Amateur Radio positions. The
APPROXIMATE start time is 10:00 am APPROXIMATE end time is 4:00 pm.  We
are looking into the need and availability of parking passes and
volunteer credentials.
