Virginia Communications Emergency Termination (Feb 17, 2003) -- As of 2PM
EST (1900 UTC), the Federal Communications Commission's declared
communications emergency was terminated at the request of the Virginia
RACES. Amateurs can resume using the frequencies 3947 kHz AND 7243.5 kHz,
plus or minus 3 kHz. In addition, amateurs can resume using frequencies
145.430 MHz, 146.880 MHz in Richmond, 147.360 MHz in Chesterfield, and
146.760 MHz in Williamsburg. The Federal Communications Commission wishes to
thank everyone for their cooperation and dedicated amateur service.
