[K3PZN-List] ARES/RACES Exercise AUG 23

ALL ARES/RACES Members:

MDC ARES/RACES/NTS will be conducting a partial ERP activation in support
of Homeland Security related operations on Saturday 23 August beginning
at 1200 hours local time.  Duration to be two hours or so.

This exercise will be using the Region Nets exclusively.  The HF nets
will not be available.  Each EC and RO is asked to send an ARRL formatted
radiogram to the SEC via the respective region net.  In this message,
please indicate your jurisdiction and the number of ARES/RACES members
participating in the exercise.  Exercise termination notice will be
provided by the SEC.
 
A CARET net will activate at 1100 local on the K3PZN 2 meter repeater. 
This exercise will be a "Home Station" activation (operating from your
house).  I have no other information about this exercise than what you
see here.
