My comments regarding the MS Walk of Saturday April 5:

* (+) Keith KB3HHK did an outstanding job as NCS and organizer!
* (+) Keith's crew (for fear of omission, I won't attempt to name names) =
did a fine job as usual.
* (-) We hams were short-handed...Keith had no relief at NCS and there =
was not enough relief for the field positions.
* (-) T'was cold and wet (poor planning...Hi Hi)
* (+) The hot dogs were good and the T shirt is nice.  Thanks to the MS =
staff.
* (-) A note for the MS staff...please be more observant when laying out =
the course map in future events.  The course map shows the course =
departing Rest Stop #2 following Center street facing traffic on the =
return to the farm museum.  That sounds good, but there was a problem.  =
The mapper missed the situation at Green street where there is no cross =
walk on that side of Center street.  Fortunately, only a few people =
followed the map literally at that point and there were no mishaps.  One =
close call came when an adult, pulling a wagon with a child aboard, had =
to make a mad dash to get out of traffic (remember that this is =
Westminster and vehicles have the right of way...Hi Hi).

>From my perspective, it was a good event and a rewarding experience for =
all involved.
