  MINUTES OF LAST EVENINGS HAMFEST MEETING ENCLOSED, 73

Hamfest committee meeting minutes

  The Hamfest Committee met on September the 25th at the Fire Training 
Center.

  Those present were; Steve N3SB, Clint W3ARS, Al K3ZE, Bill N3WM, Jerry 
N3GQK, John AK3Z, Frank K3MTT, Jim WX3B and Joe N3YIM.

  President Beckman called the meeting to order at 1937.

  Steve N3SB, went over Hamfest Deadlines, a document updated by Wayne 
N3UN, in 1999, although most of the items have been accomplished a few 
remain to be completed before the Hamfest, a copy of the list is 
attached to the file copy.

  A Hamfest Idea list was also presented by Steve N3SB, included on this 
list were the following sections, Hamfest Planning Topics, Features, 
Roles, Games, Vendor Lists with sub-lists, Vendors at the Fall-Fest and 
Vendors at the BRATS Hamfest.  Several of the vacant roles were filled; 
some have yet to be confirmed by the individual assigned.  Steve N3SB, 
will start a vendor go-get list and distribute to Committee members for 
them to contact those vendors assigned.
 
  General status is good and all vital items have been completed.  A 
copy of the Committee Report by Steve may be seen at 
k3pzn-list@mailman.qth.net, copy of Idea list and E-mail is attached to 
the file copy.

  There was a lot of discussion about things to improve our Hamfest; 
most will be implemented for next year.

  The meeting adjourned at 2115.
