Marathon in the Parks - Sunday, November 17

Event time is 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Event is a twenty-six mile run beginning at Shady
Grove Metro Station, 
entering the Rock Creek Trail at Lake Needwood and
proceeding to the 
Georgetown Trail and ending in Bethesda.

Will probably use the MARC 2-meter repeater as primary
frequency, but 
some locations may
require more than 5 watts power and/or a gain antenna
due to the 
topography of the course. 

About 25 volunteers are needed, about thirteen
currently signed up.

Rockville Runfest 5K/10K - Sunday, December 8

Time: 6:45 a.m. to about 9:30 a.m.

Location: King Farm Development in Rockville across
from the Shady 
Grove 
Metro.

This event was rescheduled from October 13.

The MARC 2-meter repeater will be used.

About ten to twelve volunteers are needed, six are
currently signed up.
