CARROLL COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB BOARD MINUTES

The Board of Directors of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Club met on
May 22, 2002 at the Fire Training Center.

President Beckman, N3SB, called the meeting to order at 1950.

Members present were, Steve, N3SB, Frank, K3MTT, Bill, N3WM, John, AK3Z,
Jerry, N3GQK, Clint, W3ARS, Jim, K4CGY and Joe, N3YIM.

Steve, N3SB, presented a proposed budget to the Board, and Frank, K3MTT,
submitted a proposed balanced budget to the Board. In order to have a
balance budget cuts will have to be made in most areas, but will remain
sufficient to sustain the club in fiscal year 2003.

The discussion on the budget was extensive and several changes were
made, in the end it was agreed to present the modified budget of Frank's
to the club for approval.

Bill, N3WM, reported to the Board that the club has lost its Non-profit
status due to non-submission of required forms for the past two years;
he has been in touch with the proper authorities and hopes to have us
reinstated before the June meeting. The proper forms are in hand, filled
out and signed, and will be presented to the State in person, by him and
President Beckman.

Starting this month a copy of the minutes will be posted in the radio
room for all to see or read, two arch boards have been purchased and
will be installed shortly.

Jim, K4CGY, has a copy of a letter from Ten-Tec asking that small
Hamfests, like ours, contact them for copies of their catalog for the
club table as handouts, Joe, N3YIM, will contact them and other
manufacturers to acquire them.

There being no further business, Steve, N3SB, adjourned the meeting at 2055.

SUBMITTED;

JOE EBAUGH, N3YIM
Secretary
