Well my mailer is doing something crazy today. Hope
the last two blanks don't really come through.
This should be discussed at the next FD meeting (don't
make it until at least Tuesday or I won't be able to
make it again) and the board meeting. Let's summarize
a little.
1) Gamber out--maybe
2) FTC will be available
3) Most would prefer to be in a park or fire
grounds type setting (with grass not concrete).
4) Many of these types around but have not
approached owners.
Suggestion:
That the FD committee ask one person to contact
one of the sites and find out availability and any
cost. It would be nice if the person doing the
contacting knew someone in the organization but this
not required. We don't want a half dozen of us
approaching the same organization.
Question:
While it should be possible to find a site in
Carroll County does the club want to REQUIRE that it
be in Carroll and not an adjacent county?
This just for some thought.
