RACES

MEMA has announced a statewide communications exercise 
(COMMEX) to take place 1930-2030 14 May. The scenario 
is based on communications outages caused by wildfires 
due to widespread drought. RACES nets are planned for
147.090+ RPT (Western Regional Net), 147.105+ RPT (Eas-
tern Regional Net), and 145.750 simplex packet (TCP/IP).
MEMA asks that participants begin and end all traffic 
with the phrase: EXERCISE MESSAGE.
