ALL,

>From an e-mail received by Steve Beckman N3SB, I have disabled the 2
Meter repeater until further notice.

Please configure your radio for 145.410 simplex to facilitate contacts on
the repeater frequency.

Subject: Repeater Spur

Greetings Guys;

Heard the repeater spur Tuesday evening during the Caret net. Started
about
8:37 PM, disappeared about 5 minutes later, then came back around 8:48,
and
hung in for the rest of the net. It drifted down in frequency while the
repeater was transmitting. At one point, it crosses through 135.750 MHz.
Signal level is quite strong. Easy to hear on an HT with a rubber duckie.
Audio is clean FM, but while the spur is near 135.850, it takes on a
buzzing sound like a cell trunking channel.

Suggest the repeater be turned off until it can be looked at again. I can
be available to help.
