Howdy, All,
One parting comment, if I may.  In spite of my jesting, I am a FIRM
believer in the STANDARD phonetics!!! Also, one of my Elmers told me
countless times that "Q" codes were strictly for CW, and I was NOT to use
them on phone or he would disown me......
A funny thing he said, "10" codes were, however, designed for phone, but
it seems not many folks use them... perhaps due to a desire to avoid
assosiation with other services that Do use them??? (Police, Fire, CB and
others)
I have noticed that q codes are rather common on phone anyway, but the
guy was a quirky fellow....LOL
