Hello CCARC members,

With so many CCARC members upgrading to HF privileges, I thought I would share a nice Internet resource I've come to rely upon over the years. It is the 425 DX News. The service is run by a pair of Italian hams, and they maintain both a web page and a weekly DX newsletter. They run this service for free, and I have never received any spam from them. The newsletter provides information on DXpeditions, QSL managers, special stations, DX stations who plan to operate during contests, IOTA, and lots of other stuff. I actually save all the newsletters in one huge file so that I can search on callsigns, etc. (I'm waiting for it to crash my computer!) Anyway, if you are interested, their subscription information and web address are below:

            425 DX NEWS WWW PAGE ---> http://www.425dxn.org

               <<< 425 DX NEWS REFLECTOR SUBSCRIPTIONS >>>

             If you want to SUBSCRIBE, please send a message to
                            [email protected]
                                 with either
               subscribe 425eng (for the English version) OR
               subscribe 425ita (for the Italian version)
            in the SUBJECT (leave the body of the message blank)

          If you want to UNSUBSCRIBE, follow the same procedure and
            replace subscribe 425eng or subscribe 425ita with
          unsubscribe 425eng or unsubscribe 425ita respectively

The ARRL also has a weekly newsletter, but the information is much reduced from that of the 425 DX News. You can get more details and subscription information on the ARRL newsletter at their website.
