Larry (WX3F) and I were working on the RACES computer yesterday at the
FTC. I was trying to load Linux on it so we could do packet to IP for
sending email (SMTP). Anyway 16 MB of ram and a 250 MB HD is just a tad
short for our needs. Although Linux can work in a small environment like
this by the time I loaded Perl and the needed tools it became too much.
So if anyone has any 72-pin 70ns (it's a 486/66) or better ram chips
(static ram) they would like to donate that would be great! Also a
bigger hard drive is needed as well. Preferably a 1 or 2 GB IDE drive
that you have laying around. Whatever you have have let's talk.
73 & TIA!
