Dear CCARC Members;
    I'm surprised that most of the replies to Jim's Email are appalled
with Gamber asking for a usage fee. We pay considerably more for the
Mini/Tailgate Fest at Reese VFD. I would be in favor of combining Field
Day, the Tailgate fest and possibly the Hamfest at this facility if we
can get consideration for multiple events. Just Field Day and the
Tailgate fest alone would save the club money. If we can lock Gamber
into a multi-year contract, we may be able to defer an upward price
"creep". I understand that State Hamfest at Timonium is looking for
volunteers to help and will "pay" for services rendered. A group
participating from CCARC would offset the above expenses and most members
attend this Hamfest anyway..........
