Members of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
(CCARC) invite you to participate in any one of their
many public service events!
They set up and talk over 2-way radios at different locations
around the county. They often prepare for and practice
emergency communications, and at other times coordinate
community events such as for a major bicycle race, offer
training, and put on technical demonstrations, such as
shortwave radio communications and contests, high-altitude
balloon experiments or satellite communications.
Stations are set up the Carroll County Emergency Operations
Center, at selected local high schools, and other locations.
