[K3pzn-board] Meeting location

Ok. Here is the deal. As I stated earlier, Bullock's has a meeting room
which is free and they expect everyone to buy dinner. It can be reserved.
I don't think paying a fee and not buying dinner is an option.

Options:

1. Reserve it and remind club members to buy dinner if they are attending.
2. Larry's non-profit idea--not heard anything so not sure about this.
3. Cancel the Feb meeting completely. Since we can have our meeting place
back next month and since we had our business meeting last month, in my
opinion can be easily justified given the emergency circumstances.

No facilities for presentation this month other than to talk about our
current events and our future new home.

I am fine with canceling completely given our circumstances and how busy
everyone is. I would like to send out the meeting notice by tomorrow.

There is also a chance that my company will be sending me to the air force
base on Sunday but I will find out tomorrow.

John

John,

I will see if we can get a conference room at the Carroll Non-Profit Center.
Hold your search until I get back to you.

I understand. Worry not and take the time you need to help your family.
I'll firm up some details before I send anything out but should be able to
contact them by tomorrow. I think we are all a little short on time these
days....

I Don't really care just pick some place and announce it by Friday. I just
don't have any bandwidth right now between work and just moving my
grandmother to hospice to work on club stuff.

Andy,

As we discussed, Bullock's is a good place to meet for this month. However,
there will be no additional charges as long as everyone is eating. They
will reserve space for us for free as long as people are ordering dinner.
It may not be acceptable for a few to order dinner and then have 20 people
walk in and order nothing. So if we are going to meet there, might want to
pitch to the club that we are welcome for free for this meeting as long as
people place orders--pitch as a dinner meeting.

John, AK3Z

We've had some discussion about where to hold the feb meeting but not come
to a decision yet. Since the eoc isn't ready yet let's delay that until its
ready for a tour. I think that means we pick a restaurant with a meeting
room since libraries are booked.

My vote is we try Bullox for Feb and see how it goes. Come eat at say 6:30
and we then need a meeting topic to start closer to 7:30.

Andy
