FB. enjoy your visit to God's country! Actually my roots are not that deep in Ohio, but it was home for a couple decades and I still am an 8.
I fired up PSK31 on Saturday after a long hiatus, and came back to operating with it on Sunday and Monday! 20m is open pretty well across the pond and across the US -- but the shorter path from Chicago back here takes some extra help (I think from the E-layer) like we had during FD. It was kinda cool to work both 'cow countries' on the same night -- GU and GJ. Yes enjoy those flying digits!
You had a better alibi than me - mine was only my 29th anniversary.
Andy
Thanks for affirming - I will contact the hiker dude and let him know when our August meeting is. I consider it a long shot as he sees what hits he gets, but you never know. If we find he is in MD some other week, well, I can explore when other clubs have their meetings - but I wanted first dibs for us.
