Subject: Request to borrow club property


Gentlemen (a.k.a. Members of the BoD),
 
I request permission to borrow the following items of club property:
 
1. The fence post "pounder" (borrow at the club meeting on the 12th, return by the 21st, well before it's needed at the hamfest)
 
2. The gin pole (borrow after return of the pounder, return within two weeks)
 
3. Gin pole guy ropes
 
 
The pounder will be used to insert ground rods for the tower I'm erecting.  The gin pole will be used for erectiion of the Rohn 20 tower.  The 20 has the same footprint and leg size as a 25, but is not as strong (it was considered TV grade).
 
A few months ago the gin pole was said to have a structural problem.  Has that problem been fixed?  If not, is the pole useable and safe?
 
Once upon a time, there was a formal procedure for borrowing club stuff.  If it still applies, I will be happy to comply with its Ts&Cs.
