Hello all,
Steve - does this mean that we can snail
mail a flyer to all hams in Carroll County
ZIP Codes and invite them to participate?
That is a great idea. Especially if we
can get them interested in PIC/PICAXE/AVR
microcontrollers in general, and maybe
PICetSat in passing! (My bias. ;-)
Board - I cannot make any BoD meeting over
the next few Wednesdays, include a week
from this Wednesday due to conflicts. Is
this true for anyone else on the board?
I wouldn't suggest it for only little ol'
me, but if OTHERS cannot make certain
meeting Wednesday eves then I might
suggest we consider a temporary shift to
a Thursday eve or a Saturday morning.
Thoughts?
Will I see you guys tonight?
Thanks,
Pat

Subject: [K3pzn-board] New Ham / Renewed Ham database
Gentlemen;
I was reminded today of a very neat feature that Secretaries of ARRL Affiliated
clubs have access to. I'm able to query a web database to get names and
addresses of new and renewed hams. I can define a list of zip codes, as well as
a cut-off date, to refine the search.
Once we have a club flyer put together, this tool will allow us to send our
flyer to prospective club members.
73; Steve, N3SB
