[K3pzn-board] BARC Minifest this Wednesday Evening

well let's get everyone's 'vote' on Bill's straw-poll on this topic.  likely i would not make it to the mini-fest unless the board were meeting nearby - so consider my input 'neutral' willing to do either (i assuming i can get over to Timonium after work .... maybe I should have feared traffic before I said maybe?)

I thought we had come to concensus on the hamfest date, by process of elimination of a bunch of things.  Its in Steve's notes, maybe from the Nov meeting?  

Dues - I guess I got to take care of this at the Feb meeting, lest i deal with new TBD treasurer who might throw the book at me for late payment.  

Thanks for serving us so well as treasurer, an act that will be impossible to match (in the near future anyway short of a pro accountant joining us who has passion for this hobby).  My XYL barely trusts me with family accounting ...

I don't plan to go to the mini-fest and won't be able to make the 28th.

I can add the following items for the agenda for whenever/wherever it is:
1. Hamfest and Tailgate dates need to be firmed up with Ag Center, give them $ for deposits
2. The Membership Committee wants to make a proposal (we need money for membership renewals)

Also, to restate what I said at the Dec board meeting (haven't seen any minutes...probably got food-stained...Hi): I am not a candidate for any office/position (or the nominating committee).  Good luck to the incoming treasurer, whomever it may be.

OK sounds like 3 of us so far could meet at / after the mini-fest for club business ???  

let's see how many of us would venture to the mini-fest who otherwise WOULD be participating this wednesday if we were in Westminister.  

Other than nominating committee action -- and thinking thru our plans for upcoming meetings -- what else is critical that can't wait until Feb ??

Hello to all,

The mini-hamfest (Free-Fest as I have heard) is very nice and I had planned on going.  We could short board meeting off to the side at the fest or
what about shifting the meeting to Friday evening 1/23/2009 at 7:30pm at the FTC?

What do you think?
