[K3pzn-board] Jan Meeting Presentation

Rich & the Board

Honestly you have the right idea to provide some meeting diversification !  Our meetings need to be 'worth driving to' and presentations on something new (Dave's) and something old (yours) is a good idea.

-------------

If Andy gave a presentation on erecting towers I would certainly listen.

We have plenty of people lurking who can present interesting things!  I would suspect most people would rather hear 2-3 short presentations at a meeting than one in depth one, as the latter has the danger of being of interest to a smaller audience.

We did have a visitor come and share an opportunity to assist to see if a handicapped lady could learn CW.  I confess I did not write down the phone number, and I have been recently swamped myself -- but I feel we should follow up.  If the young lady can be taught to send a CW character - I am suspicious she could learn the full alphabet.  If someone could make contact, I would be willing to participate on a team supporting this, but I can't take it on myself only.

Some strategic planning for the upcoming year would be healthy, particularly if we keep our goals realistic.

If  possible, I would like to do a 5 to 10 minute show and tell of an old Federal tube radio that got me into the club and back into the hobby because of Frank.
