Good Morning:

The "head" as it is referred to by Rohn Tower (P/N H2545) on our ginpole 
is in need of replacement but most likely repair. The "head" is the 
clamp assembly. I checked with Rohn and the replacement cost $585 plus 
shipping...very expensive. A new ginpole (complete with new head) cost 
over $900. I called Antenna Systems and they quoted $893 just for the 
head. I think we should see if we can have the head repaired locally so 
that it will be safe to use.

I don't have the information on the tower jack some members have 
discussed but I think we should move forward on getting one for the 
club. It will make it much easier.

Your thoughts?
