There it is, Curt - build bicycle mobile units that we could operate from the NCR trail.  My house is less than 2 miles from the Freeland parking lot.  Use it as a staging point.  My dog and I are often walking the trail.  I have begun to pick up some bikes at auctions and hamfests.  Timonium yeilded a Giant Yukon SE aluminum frame mountain bike for $40.  It's a bit on the small side for me.  My NCR bike is a Bianchi Avenue (chromoly frame) in just the right size picked up at auction for $35.  Rigs would probably be no problem - KX1 or maybe a Small Wonder rig, but coming up with a good antenna system might be a bit of a challenge.
