[K3pzn-board] Reflector observation

Does anyone realize that over the past 6 months there have been on average
less than 20 members using the reflector to post messages. If you deduct
the use of the executive board and the BoD, that reduces the number to less
than a dozen regular users. That is only 13% of our total membership!

Please correct me if I'm wrong but, I understand this to be a free or very
low cost service to the club. I also understand that all that is asked in
return for the use of this service, is that proper netiquette be observed
and that all postings be related to amateur radio and/or club business.

I am of the opinion that we should more actively promote the use of the
reflector as an important communications medium for ALL of our members. It
is a valuable tool for sending and receiving time sensitve information as
well as a way for fresh ideas and opinions to be offered to other club
members. I realize that we can't FORCE any one to use the reflector, but
the open exchange of ideas is one of the things that makes us one of the
best run radio clubs in the area!

I'll get off of my soap box now. Your thoughts, gentlemen.
