Steve,

What do you think of this idea?

"I move that CCARC recognize Howard (Buddy) Redman for his many years of service
to Carroll county as (insert title)and for his relationship with CCARC with the
following:

1) A commemorative plaque
2) A commemorative dinner for Buddy and his spouse hosted by the BOD and
interested members (all of whom would go "dutch") at which the plaque would be
presented
3) If permitted by the by-laws, life membership in CCARC

I further move that an expenditure not to exceed $150 be authorized to cover
expenses for the plaque and the Redmans' dinner."


I just want to get the idea on the table.  If you agree it is a good idea,
someone could "wordsmith" it (and make the motion).
