To all ARRL Affiliated Clubs,

Today an Honor Roll of Amateur Radio clubs and organizations was posted
on the Development section of the ARRL website, honoring those that have
contributed to ARRL in 2003.  This Honor Roll listing at
http://www.arrl.org/development/bpl-thanks.html#top will be updated each
Friday afternoon with the names of new groups that make contributions to
the special Spectrum Defense campaign against Broadband Over Power Lines
and other ARRL funds.  

We've heard of some interesting activities that your colleagues have
used to generated collective contributions, including the Tampa Bay
Hamfest that voted to pay $1.00 per admission to their hamfest to the
ARRL BPL fund.  They hope to raise around $2,500 and are issuing a Tampa
Bay Challenge to all other major hamfest to do the same! Perhaps your
club can think of it's own creative way to generate the vital funds
needed to continue the campaign against BPL this fall.  

If you are one of the groups that has already made a contribution, thank
you.  You might be one of the many clubs that has contacted us and is
currently considering a contribution.  But if your organization has not
yet joined this effort, I hope you'll do so at your next meeting.  We'd
love to add your name to the Honor Roll!!!
