I have an HP LaserJet M207 - M212. I get aftermarket cartridges from amazon pretty cheap, no problems. InkJets smear easily. We also have a Brother laserjet printer model HL - L2350DW that works fine.I would avoid the printer/scanner combo. I have found they do not work as well as a stand alone scanner. Current scanner is an Epson, but I'm not happy with the software. Previously I had a Canon scanner and that software had a much better user interface. Both scanners were on the lower price point and work fine. But it's worth a little more on a printer.Dick T.AE3DT______________________________________________________________On Mon, Aug 10, 2026 at 1:59 PM Kim Wells K3OCM WRCJ625 via K3CAL <k3cal@mailman.qth.net> wrote:Hello to the Group,
I am looking for a "low-duty" combination Printer & Scanner.
The scanner needs to be able to do OCR but not have an auto-feeder.
Over the next couple of months I may need to print 10-20 pages a month.
After that, only a couple of pages a month.
I'm looking to avoid expensive toner cartridge purchases.
Any Recommendations?
