particuarly for Field Day operators:
Following the
back-to-back earthquakes Wednesday in Venezuela, there is a
request to keep the 40-meter frequency of 7.135 MHz clear of
non-emergency traffic.
With this
being Field Day weekend, please be mindful not to operate,
or interfere with operations, on that frequency. Your best
bet to insure you are not "that person" is to avoid
operating on any frequency between 7.130 - 7.140 MHz.
