Board of Directors Meeting
The Board Meeting was called to order at 6:40pm by President Brian Kress at Ledo’s restaurant in Prince Frederick. Present were: Brian Kress, KB3WFV, Lisa Kress, Erik Johnson, KC3QQD, Dave Weaver, W3PQS and Shawn Donley, N3AE.

Misc:
- Minutes from the August Board meeting were approved
- The Board is considering offering a Technician class starting in January 2026, perhaps at Mt Hope since we have free use of that facility. Might consider a hybrid class using both instructional material and HamTestOnline
President:
- Three proposals were received for the tower work at the State Highway tower in Prince Frederick. The Board decided to move forward with the lowest priced proposal from Teltronic Towers, which is $3,612.00. However, the Board agreed not to spend funds or ask for donations until the GMRS repeater gear has a shakedown test. It was proposed that this test be done at the Sunderland tower by temporarily using the antenna currently serving the N3PPH DMR repeater.
- The president discovered that our liability insurance policy has lapsed. The problem arose due to email issues. Brian will work on re-establishing the policy which we will need for our Calvert Fair participation.
- Decision was made to use Mt Hope for our surplus equipment sale on Oct 25th providing there’s no other large event there that day.
