For our August meeting, the plan is "HT Support Kits". Please think about and put together(if you haven't already)a kit of items you believe you would need to support HT operations for a 12 to 24 hour period.
There is no wrong answers or too much equipment. Can be for voice only or voice and digital. Whatever you think you would need for your "scenario".
We chose a "12 to 24 hour period" because deployments or activations longer, would probably require a more substantial or robust station.
The purpose is to offer each other ideas we may not have thought about or give folks a starting point for their kit.
We'll also try to have an impromptu discussion about HT ops as well. This is just radio equipment. Not meant to be a pack your bags kind of thing.
