Based on the current forecast and radar imagery, set-up time, and lack of protection from the elements at the park, it has been decided that today would not be a good day for a ham radio outing. Looking like quite a bit of rain not too far away from us right
now.
Considering NVIS is a valuable skill and it's potential use in EmComm, we would like to do a group function to demonstrate and practice short distance HF communications so look to see something planned for the near future or possibly combining it with one of
our POTA outings.
If you were looking to come out and enjoy some club camaraderie, that's still possible. Breakfast is planned for Dream Weaver Cafe in Prince Frederick at 9am. All are welcome! They have a great menu, and it's always interesting conversation so come on out
and have a good meal and eyeball QSO. Would love to see you.
As the Southern Maryland Skywarn net manager and self-proclaimed weather "guru", I apologize for Mother Nature's lack of cooperation in this endeavor. Hopefully she will be a little nicer to us another day.
