The CARA net starts at 7:30PM. Whoever takes the net should wait until the repeater announces: "net messages are off." This will prevent the repeater from interrupting you during the beginning of the net. This message usually does not occur until 7:32 or 7:33 pm or thereabouts. Sorry, this is a flaw in the Arcom controllers ability to keep accurate time.
